It's also easy to push and feels sturdy when navigating kerbs or woodland pathways. Plus, it's a dream to fold.
1. Babyzen YOYO2
The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned itself a reputation as the ultimate stroller that is light, ideal for city dwellers as well for jet-setters. This is thanks to its extremely nimble handling and fold that fits into the overhead luggage of an aeroplane. This latest version features independent suspension on all 4 wheels made of Hytrel elastomer, allowing it to perfectly traverse all types and terrains'.
The bent fabric bassinet, the base YOYO2 frame and 6months of colour pack are combined to create a chic pushchair that has a soft, elegant aesthetic. The frame itself weighs just under a kilo and is so light that you can easily lift it from the box (and do it using one hand).
It's also easy to attach or remove attachments or adaptors like the hood for instance, snaps on to the YOYO2 by clicking - as well as being machine washable at 30 degrees to remove staining from rice cakes that have been smashed and half-dissolved carrot puffs. It can be used as a pram right from birth using the Newborn Pack or bassinet, or converted into a stroller from 6 months by clicking on the YOYO Connect additional chassis.
2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore
Evenflo Pivot Xplore stroller wagon is a great option for parents who are looking for a versatile stroller. The Evenflo Xplore can be converted from a stroller to the wagon by turning the handle. Parents can then select which mode is best for their journey. cheap single pushchair can accommodate one or two kids from 6 months old to 5 years old, and it has a wide storage basket for everything you require on the go.
The Xplore also comes with two canopies that turn from front to back, ensuring ample sun coverage for all family members. It also has a footwell that's not as deep or large as other wagons, which means it might not be comfortable for long excursions or for napping.
The frame of the Xplore wagon feels solid and sturdy but it does not flex as much as other wagons we have test. It is also more difficult than other wagons to fold, and it isn't able to lock securely once folded. It is easy to move however, and it is able to fit through narrow 28 inches doors.
3. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side

This Delta Children bare-bones travel stroller is a great option for parents looking for a secondary stroller that is affordable. It earned an eye-catching score in our Strollers and Multiples test for weight and size folded which means it's light, compact when folded and easy to put into a trunk of a car or closet. It also comes with an adjustable reclining seat that can be positioned in several positions as well as an adult cup holder. Other features worth mentioning include two large hanging storage bags and 360-degree front wheels that are shock-absorbing.
In our test of push and turn it performed better than most of the other strollers of a similar price we tried, but it's not the most maneuverable on uneven ground or through narrow doorways. Its sunshades are among the ones we tested the smallest, providing only direct overhead coverage and no peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 and Zoe Twin+ have significantly larger canopy sizes.
The Delta took us just over 3 minutes to put together with an average manual and all of the components required tools. It's missing certain features we consider essential in double strollers. They include a large basket, reclining seats and leg rests that can be adjusted.
4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1
The Zelia is the latest addition to Maxi-Cosi's pushchair range and is advertised as an urban travel system. It is designed to accommodate baby from birth up to approximately 3.5 years old, and can be converted between a seat and a carrycot in just only a few clicks. It can also be used with Maxi Cosi capsule car seats and comes complete with the light Mico 30 infant car seat, a stay-incar base and a reversible carriage.
It's really easy to maneuver and the one-hand recline of the seat and the huge shopping basket make it easy for parent-tots to get the child in and out of the seat quickly. Despite being narrow, the pushchair handled the everyday bumps with ease and was able to pass through doorways without fuss.
The front wheels are able to be locked in a forward position or rotate. This is useful when navigating rough terrain. While walking through the stony trail, we allowed them to swivel and it handled this fairly well, though it did appear more bumpy than the other models that we tested.
5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2
Baby Jogger is known for their 3-wheeler, all-terrain Jogging pushchairs, however they also make a good selection of 4-wheel strollers. The City Tour 2 is one of their most popular models. It is easy to fold and can fit into the car's boot even with the carrycot attached.
It's heavier than other strollers that we tried, but because it has composite wheels made of rubber, it feels sturdy and well-made. It's a breeze to maneuver across all types of terrain and it's easy to move, even when loaded with two children and shopping bags.
Both the seat and the carrycot come with hoods that are able to be lower to reveal UV50and sun canopy extensions. They are strong and waterproof, unlike other hoods for prams, which can be blown back into toddlers' faces.
It's not a lot of storage space, but it comes with a large, deep basket to hold a changing bag or plenty of food. You can also pair it with the Baby Jogger car seat for infants up 20 lbs (car seat and adapters are available separately). The City Tour 2 is a ideal choice for those looking to use a stroller on the move.
6. Nuna Mixx Next
Nuna Mixx was a stroller that captured the hearts of many parents when it first appeared. It's a stroller made of aluminum which can be used from the infant's first days until. It is a standout model with many unique features, such as the capacity of the seat to flip between the front facing parent and the outside, a large UPF50+ canopy with a flip-out eyeshade, and an adjustable handlebar.
The wheels are durable and foam-filled which minimises punctures. The chassis is equipped with built-in suspension which takes the sting out of bumpy terrain. It was easy to push and our tester was able to maneuver the vehicle through the narrow streets.
It locks automatically and folds in just four steps. It also stands and can be trolleyed for easier transport in the trunk of your car or down the stairs at home. The travel system is included with the option to add an additional car seat or carrycot by using the adaptors included. The brakes come with a single action and are color coded. They also can be used with flip-flops.
7. Babyzen Duet
This single pushchair that is budget-friendly is extremely easy to use and comes with great dual suspension, one-hand fold and a convenient carry strap. It's also light and robust. The seat can be reclined into many different positions. It also has a double-breathable mattress that's suitable for babies.
The canopy/seat has two large sun visors that are either fixed or flipped out. Both are UPF50+. The toggle closure isn’t ideal as it’s not as quiet as Velcro and could wake up napping babies.
The Duet is a stroller that can be used side-by-side and can be adapted to accommodate twins or siblings (up to a maximum of 22kg per seat). It is compatible with two infant car seats and can be used with carrycots. In twin mode, the seats can be placed so that they face each one. They can also be set towards the parents. This can help to reduce sibling disputes over who sits with mom and dad. It comes with a massive bottle holder, a gear tray, snack trays and a change mat. It also has an automatic frame lock and a superior compact fold.
8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2
The Thule Urban glide 2 is a great stroller for parents who like to be active. It's among the lightest strollers you can purchase for your child. It also comes with great safety features like a 5-point harness and safety wrist strap. It also has a twist hand brake which is different than the lever type found on competing models.
The seat is comfortable and has a wide area to sit in, however the depth of the seat is lower than other joggers that we've tested (it's approximately 10"). The storage bin has an enclosed zipper to help keep things secure. It can hold up to 10 pounds that is enough for the majority of diaper bags.
The Urban Glide 2 doesn't come with adapters that will fit the majority of infant car seats and bassinets however, you can use them from the first day with adapters that will fit brands such as BOB, Graco Combi Evenflo Britax UPPAbaby. It folds down compactly and takes 5-10 minutes to put together with no tools. The user manual is easy to read and is available in multiple languages.
